Hello Friends and Family!
It is now October and the weather is getting colder day by
day. Just a friendly reminder that all kids should start bringing a jacket to
school so they can continue to enjoy the outdoors even as the weather changes.
There are a some new boards up at Sr. OSC to check out.
“Who Dat, Who Dat?” board consists of random facts about leaders. Children
can try to guess which fact belongs to which leader. After they make a guess,
they can flip up the piece of paper covering the picture of the leader. There
are some pretty interesting facts so be sure to check it out!
Another new board is the Birthday Board that has the birthdays
of all the children on display. It’s pretty cool to see the upcoming birthdays so they’re
not forgotten about. More often than not, a birthday passes unnoticed and we want
everybody to feel special on their big day.
The last board “#Snacktivities” shows the upcoming snacks
and afternoon activities we have planned for the month. We have found in the
past the kids are always curious as to what will be for snack or art. Having the calendars on display should help peak their interest and keep everyone full and entertained for the whole year!
