Oh My, What a Busy January It has Been!

Hello Readers,

I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas and New Year’s!

It seems the Juniors and Seniors alike are all very pleased with their Christmas hauls! Some have come back tanned and jet lagged, others still have copious amounts of chocolate to indulge in. Yet all of them are beaming with a smile that shows they will never forget the memories made with their families both at home and abroad.

This past week at Senior OSC there has been some exciting competition stretching from the gym all the way to the foosball tables. We could play “2 Ball” into the wee hours of the next morning if all the parents decided not to show up, yes, it’s that popular. Some great sportsmanship was demonstrated in the foosball tournament as well!

There was a “constructing a tower with newspaper” activity as well. What started out with 3 builders quickly turned to 6 and the kids quickly realized that more hands and ideas meant less work because they could operate as a team. With some ingenuity and great delegation they created a tower taller than me, and a sculpture even Michelangelo could appreciate!

I will be running a Music Club at Senior OSC starting on Monday January 27th and I would be stoked to see a good turn out! So if you know your child is looking for a creative outlet or some extra practice time on their instrument please encourage them to bring their musical weapon and join me for jam! We’ll sing, we’ll collaborate and most of all, we’ll have fun!

Thanks, and Take Care!

James
